Dieter Mittermeier, CEO of Daumann Heavy Construction, was about to leave for a very important meeting with representatives of Interspace Commerce and federal goverment. Ships' engines were warm, deck empty and all they waited for was traffic control's permission to launch, when CEO's datapad received new message from his assistant.
Apparently some serious situation occured onboard Bonn station, and Daumann freighter waiting there for refuel was asked for help. Mittermeier ordered ship to wait, and contacted HQ frequencies for more details...
The GMG delegation managed to hastily escape Bonn station with the help of a Daumann freighter. Although the ship wasn't accommodated for extra passengers, Guild Master Taro Katsuo and his fellow Guildsmen suffered only little discomfort on the short trip from Bonn to the Ring. They were all anxious about getting home to the Sigmas again, but could yet again begin to feel at ease now that they were clear from Kruger's manipulative claws at Bonn. With few to trust, and not being entirely sure that the Bundespolizei had their best interests at heart, Katsuo and his men opted to use the help of a Daumann captain, whom agreed to take them to the Ring.
Hiromichi Shino, one of Katsuo's protégées, had accompanied the Guild Master to Bonn. He was standing next to Katsuo in the freighters cargo hold, when he heard the ships intercom blaring out a message that they were currently engaging in docking procedure with the Ring. "Sensei, I've sent out a message to Meishu-san and the Ohotsuku-kai. They were in range of our transmission, and are heading here to link up with us." Katsuo turned to face Hiromichi as he was spoken with, and replied; "Good, I was beginning to fear that we wouldn't reach them in time. Their crucial mission would have been a waste, with us still live and well. Inform Meishu-san that we'll want to depart and get back to the Sigmas as soon as possible. In the meantime, I'll have a word with the Daumann representatives here at the Ring. I must convey our thanks to someone, after all." "Hai, sensei!" Hiromichi answered, and begun to write a message meant for Jomyo Meishu aboard the Ohotsuku-kai. As he did so, he felt the distinct shake of the ship as it touched down on a hard surface, and the rumble of the engines quieting down.
