I actually did that... The RP is lacking, drastically, and the PvP is all you get 1 out of 10 times.

i think we should have it so that new players can choose to begin their character in any of the major factions home planets. that way :-

- not everyone comes from liberty
- there will be more balanced activity in the outher regions
- more chat in all regions

the maps and trade routes would probably need to be redrawn to give everyone equal revenue generation abilities.

I used to play on a server that had some kind of /restart command. You would create your char and /restart (faction) and you would die, respawn in your chosen factions sphere of influence with your REP set to that faction and it's enemies as red.

I would not be opposed to this so less people are in NY and players spread out a bit more, the starting cash would have to be increased ever so slightly though so new chars can cope with the tougher NPC's outside of Liberty.

As for the poll, I havent voted as I'll always love Liberty but spend anytime in your lawful fighter and it's true, your workload at times goes through the roof as alot of the time Liberty is under constant attack, even if you remove a large threat they simply just leave the system to harass another Liberty system and you find yourself running out of patience with the lack of RP from many players, so that in turn your own RP suffers.

I am not voting on this issue because I don't rightly know.

I stay away from NY as much as possible unless i'm passing through because of the idiot "lol-ers" around spamming system chat.

As for the LN and it's influence, i haven't seen enough of it. I see a LOT of LNS ships buzzing around in the long-range scans, but never really have problems.

So I am withholding vote for now.

Well it was only 1 BC, 3 cruisers and2 GBs. With help of 1 Dread and Lib carrier....

Stupid pool if u ask me.... Do you love or hate Liberty ? And please don't be biased.. O.o.. I am not voting.... but You can RP/fight and have fun , it all depends on who you stumble upon when you enter Liberty space... Sometimes you can sit for hours just badmouthing lawfuls and spread pirate propaganda (if you are unlawful) of spend hour searching and threatening pirates (if you are lawful), but sometimes it all sinks because that thing Tic said (full missile GBs, or fully dragonfly GBs if you are lawful)... Yeah that is life

This is true. Ignorami don't stray too far, 'cept to go to S-13, but when they do head out that way they're usually quiet. Cali, Colorado, or Texas are quite fun if you don't mind not getting your PvP fix, and the cat-and-mouse game becomes an option, since the place isn't covered with people going "OMG ROGUES IN JERSEY DEBRIS FIELD". It also is less frequented by heavy capital ships, I had a wonderful fighter battle with my Greyhound vs Copeland and Fluid in RCs. I was winning, too, but the server crashed... :( Oh well. Was still great fun.

NY can be great if the right people are there. I've had stellar, intense RP for a straight hour from a group of indies, without so much as a line of OOC, and if I may say so I'm rather proud of my Rogues RP abilities. DPL propaganda is fun to interact with, especially when there are Xenos, DPL, and corrupt LPI on all at the same time.
