Short question: Who is in charge of mining balance atm?
This comes in the wake of e.g. the GMS-Dublin question and some other wishes for change.

I dunno Jack, I haven't heard of any Dev staff changes recently. Has someone fired me?


... ok, to save time: Gold bonus is (currently) server-side, not client-side. The Admins asked me what I thought of the request and I told them it'd be fine in exchange for one of GMS' other ores with the same bonus (eg. Copper, Cobalt). I am currently considering if this change might also be implemented client-side with the next update.

Closing this thread for now. Thank you all for your ongoing feedback.

Numbers for the client-side faction drop rate modifiers have been locked in for the next update (4.87 Final).

There was a sig here, once.
