Now we have a channel a little more secure, I can explain my true intentions. The Armed Forces have a total of 3 Carriers in service. As such, and i'm sure you can understand, the current deal with Bretonia Mining and Manufacturing is that these vessels are given directly to us. There is currently no deviation from this.
Whilst I have to officially deny your request, it does not mean I am immediately opposed to it. I cannot openly say my true intentions before the entirety of the War Cabinet either. It seems due to this, you may have missed my message. What I was trying to explain, albeit a little discretely, was that the official line of action would be to send the ship to myself, and crew it with Armed Forces crewmen, and that if one was found in the field, a similar deal would take place. War time measures are not favorable, but in some cases, necessary. However, if you can find a method of supplying and crewing that does not fall in my immediate field of view, and keep it hidden away when not necessarily needed, then the Minister of Defence and, by extension, the government, need not worry about the placement of vessels that are currently in such high demand.
What I am saying is that if you can find an alternate shipyard or location to construct from and can keep it hidden from the public after completion, and those likely to report such a vessel, then a problem with your carrier need not occur, so long as it disappears before the end of a fight. This meaning that those pumped up on adrenaline don't have time to realise the vessel is not on standard military frequencies, means I can then deny the vessel existing, and if a inquiry is required from the Minister of Defence, you can deny all knowledge of such a vessel being in existence.
You'll find my office empty tomorrow afternoon, as I must attend a board meeting. I'm sure you know where to go.
