oh sorry i may have not been clear with my question.

i have a vanilla server im running and i want to have it come up on the global server so other people can see it.

Hmmm... I have one idea, but I don't know if it world work. Use FLMM and activate one of the mods in that, like, cruise speed, set in on 300 or 600, check if it is visible. You can also check that mod with "Kill Nomads - Everyone's Friendly", forgot the name.

You need to use the global server list workaround mod on your server since the official global server was taken offline. All clients will also need to be running the mod, otherwise they'll be trying to ping the old official global server list IIRC.
