Former Colonel James Wooley Jr. walked into the office of General Wayne Hammond, CO 522nd Battlegroup.
"General, after recent events and the assasination and betrayal of my father, i hereby resign my commission and command of Nova squadron."
Hammond looked up at him, apparently stunned.
"Its been an honor serving with you."
With that, James took off his colonel's insignia threw them on the desk. He turned around and proceeded out the door. He walked down to the hangar and boarded his gunboat the Song of War. On board, he changed out of his marine uniform and into civillian clothes, whilst ripping off his Sq patch and throwing it in the incinerator, along with his medals. THe reason for this: he didn't need any reminders of his former life, or of his father. He hit the com button on his desk.
"Helm, take us out of here and set a course for the Sigmas." Time for vengeance.... he thought.
