Moka hadn't been conscious very long, he vaguely remembers the transfer from the Junkers to his own people but that was about it. Now he finds himself in a large medical room surrounded by staff he was unfamiliar with and noises as alien to him as a lawman being nice and offering him cake.

As he goes to sit up, a nurse notices movement and rushes over to him and signals him to lie back down. She's saying something but he can't make it out, so he ignores her and continues to try to get up. He suddenly realizes that wasn't going to happen while a spaghetti array of cables and lines are attached to most parts of his body. A sudden sharp pain races up his left arm as an IV is torn out and blood starts to seep out. Another nurse, a burly ugly example of what he thought was a female, pushes Mokas's shoulder back down on the bed and he starts to lose consciousness again. As he slips back into darkness, he hears the one familiar thing that lets him know he's home:

"Jenta, go and get Thing now"

Thing wasn't running, but she walked quickly. Jenta filled her in with what had happened on the way. Eventually they entered the room and she went and pulled a chair up by the side of the bed. The nurses had put new IV lines in, but they hadn't managed to clean up the bed and blood spill by the time she had got there.

"How is he doing?" She asked one of the nurses still checking the lines, watching Moka instead of looking at the nurse she spoke to. "He woke up?"

Time passed and Moka's condition didn't change. He vaguely drifted in and out of consciousness but not enough to register that anything significant was happening but the one thing that mattered most was that he wasn't deteriorating. However, he wasn't getting any better either.

Jenta told Thing about his first awakening and how he made movement but she was at a loss to his condition. "What do you think it could be?" she asked Thing.

Thing shakes her head, unsure as to what the problem could be. "I'm no medic..... But I know someone who might be able to help...."

She fell silent for a moment watching him before looking across at Jenta. "Get all of the information on his condition that you can find. I'll make a few calls when you do." She sent Jenta on her way to find what she had asked for. Hoping there was something there which would be useful in helping him.
