Very sad news. The Discworld series is one of my favourites. Pratchett could write like nobody else on the planet.

At least he died peacefully at home, rather than going through the debilitating process of succumbing slowly to Alzheimers.

Indeed, he will be missed!
Truly one of my favorite authors.
Hopefully his writings will remain in our memory.
