Okay. So it's becoming apparent the stock keyboard that came with my PC a year after i bought it has become increasingly broken. The space key is broken on one side and sticks at times, it refuses to take more than two inputs at a time now and to top it all off, the WASD keys don't like to, y'know, type or fly, or anything. Stick and the keys are smooth from wear and tear.

Soooo i need a new one. Preferably something nice looking, but not horrificly expensive either. Kinda needs to have the volume keys on it and the skip track (Media player) hotkeys since i do listen to alot of music. Actually, the volume key on my current keyboard was probably one of the first to become borked (lol). Also some sort of smooth front so my wrist doesn't start rubbing on it, i recall them square HP things, hellish to type on Tongue. Oh and i do a fair bit of typing, so a fair bit of durability also.

Suggestions please!

Edit: Yes Shiz, the pain of my busted keyboard clattering away is near the end of it's reign in the Teamspeak!

Got a general price range?

I'm not certain what you would field as "Not too expensive"

Perhaps this?

http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product...g-keyboard
Although it's got the media keys as function keys.

Perhaps this?

In the range of like £20-40. I literally go through these things like coffee, it's a killer taking so many advanced level studies :/
My laptop since i bought it two years ago has had three new keyboards pack up on it, it's worked quite hard mind you

I suggest looking through a4tech catalog, they have a very good price-quality ratio. I'll post exact models when I get on my PC.

Okay so the one I'm using right now is A4Tech KV-300H, it's this chiclet type laptop-like keyboard, it's good if you want something quiet, cheap and functional, also has such a construction that when you turn it upside down you don't get enough food to feed half of Africa. Only problem is key rollover, it's not horrible but it can sometimes cause problems, it also comes with 2 usb ports if you have a deficite.

If you want something that's cheap as chips but looks like it was expensive try A4Tech X7 G800V, it has some programmable and functional keys (like volume control) and generally 'looks' like a gaming keyboard, I used to use it a long time ago but got fed up with very loud keys.

If you want something with lighting, you can try Natec Medusa 2 Backlight, I used to use it as well, but one of the keys broke in it. It basically sacrifices the USB ports of KV-300H for light, it also is very quiet. Beware though, I had two and each of them had some production flaw. Also the keys look swag as hell.

My friend is also using Modecom MC-9006, I used it for quite a while as well, it's pretty good, has light and all that, the problem is it gets dirty really damn quickly. But apart from that it's solid, though the key rollover might be a problem, depends on your playstyle.
