So do you want to know my story? Well if your reading this I guess you do. Let's get to it then shall we.
I could begin with when I was born and how I grew up but perhaps you would rather me start with my adult life.
First its important to understand I wasn't always in law enforcement. I come from a long line of police officers. My father was a cop, his father was a cop, my siblings were cops, pretty much my entire family tree were in the business of law. As for myself well I was rather the rebel as a young man. My father was persistent about me going to college and forced me to attend NYU. While attending the university I started an unlicensed illegal gaming house where students, faculty and a few outsiders would come to gamble. Rigged a few games also got a crew of card counters, cheats, hustlers and sharks. Was rather profitable but because it took most all of my time I dropped out of school. This really upset my father and due to his extensive connections with the Liberty Police he had my operation shut down. So I took the money I had made and purchased myself a freighter and went into business as a freelancer. Not that I was a 'smuggler' per say but more of an opportunist if a lucrative haul presented itself and paid well I would take it. Since my old man was so entrenched with liberty I decided to keep my more illicit trades outside of Liberty house space. Still I was rather bold and reckless to say the least and managed to get myself into plenty of trouble. Pretty small time charges for the most part but needless to say I was arrested more than a few times. Everything ranging from disorderly conduct, minor contraband possessions, solicitation of prostitution, contributing to the delinquency of minors and among other things. Yea during this time I managed to find myself visiting most every prison station outside of Liberty. Till one day I came across this Junker offering to sell me some weapons outside of Beaumont in the Texas system. I took the goods and headed to New York. Shortly after entering the system I found myself surrounded by LPI ships. They stated the weapons I was carrying were black market munitions and I was to be arrested for smuggling. This was a very serious charge and most likely would've resulted in me doing some serious time in Sugarland. Chief Valent my cousin who was only a Lieutenant at this time was the supervising officer when I was arrested. Luckily he was able to make sure I was..

of jail very quickly. He signed for my bond and I was released on my own recognizance to await trial. He set me up with a small shuttle and escorted me to the Liberty border. He told me to high tail it out of here and to never show my face around there again. Still ever the rebel I told him I would but instead decided to go and find this Junker that set me up. I couldn't leave my home forever without at least putting up a fight. So using some underground connections and disguising myself I began checking out the Junker hangouts. Ended up finding the Junker but because it took me so long to do it my trial date had come and gone. A warrant had been issued for my arrest and I was a fugitive from justice. The day I came to turn myself in I dragged that miserable Junker rat with me. I contacted my cousin Valent and gave him the evidence along with the Junker thug. Valent reviewed the case and submitted my evidence along with the suspect at my trial and the judge decided to dismiss the initial smuggling charges. Still since I had violated the law when I hadn't shown up for court I was assigned to perform some community service. The judge was very impressed on how I was able to track down the junker and gather the evidence against him proving my innocence. Also with Valent's suggestion I was assigned to help the LPI in dealing with some of their unsolved cold cases. Still at this time I wasn't an official officer so I was able to do things most cops couldn't or shouldn't do. Illegal wire taps, planting evidence, bribing witnesses, illegal searches and whatever else you can think of. I did anything and everything to get the job done and those cases 'solved'. With the astonishing results that allowed me to get over half of those cases resolved my record was expunged. I was free and clear once again but this time Valent offered me a job. Having this new chance on life I took him up on his offer to become a detective for the Liberty Police. I did exceptionally well at the new position and excelled quickly thru the ranks becoming lead detective. Valent was thoroughly pleased with my results and looked to me as his 'go to' guy. Still some old habits die hard and if you don't break them well they will break you. Couldn't kick my addictions to the more tempting things in life like booze, drugs and women. On more than one occasion I had to cover my tracks to stay out of trouble. Developed a rather infamous reputation for being a dirty shady cop. Valent even had to sweep some of my dirt under the rug so to speak. So its no surprise that when the time came for me to return the favor I was more than happy to do it. Now the details of what exactly went down are long and complicated. Lets just say that Valent's star was on the rise and he was in line to become the next Chief of Liberty Police. Due to some unforeseen circumstances that came up he needed a 'fall guy' and I took a dive. That's a story for another time though. I spent some time locked away and had to undergo several rehab stays before being released. Now that I'm out and after making contact with the now Chief Valent I am back on duty.
So I'm back on the beat and back in the saddle once again. Back to shaking down dealers, smugglers, criminals along with those filthy Junkers and it feels good. That's all for now but be sure there is still plenty more to come..
Stay frosty out there wouldn't want you all to become a corpse before your time!
This is H.I.McDunnough signing off!
