Does anyone here play it?
If so, is it worth the $20 pricetag on steam?

This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.

I have it. I've not played a whole lot, so I couldn't say... Like all things of its type, it's best with friends. However, not many people I know own the game.

When I played a while back, it was very shortly after its initial early access release. As a result it felt pretty damned clunky and strange in places. Seemed like it had some potential though.

Well I've had the chance to play the game for several days but I'm not impressed. I would tell you to get Arma 3 and then play DayZ or other mods with it, yet it will cost you a bit more. Each zombie survival game has it's own downside, but dayz mods or even the Standalone (God knows when it will be completed) is more fun in my oppinion. As Joe pointed out, with friends.

H1Z1 is better than DayZ or any zombie survival game right now. It doesn't use a crappy engine (Arma engine) and already has less bugs and hackers.

It's great fun to run around by yourself or with friends. People can be friendly ingame and want to group up, or might hit you in the head with a hammer. The game is going to be free to play once it releases so do what you want with your money. Right now the Battle Royale game mode is free and that's a load of fun.

Those Steam reviews aren't too inspiring, though.
