End of the beginning; The new Saga

Moka was sitting on the Bridge of the Disaster, hands steepled and his face tort with anger. After discovering his main lady had betrayed him like no one else had dared, he was still coming to terms with the loss of not only his woman but the dissolution of his elite group of Rogues. The band of Rogues he held lordship over abandoned his rule once discovering that the once rock solid leadership had crumbled under lies and deceit.

Moka felt alone, drifting through Shikoku contemplating all that had gone wrong in the last two months. 'Why? How? Who?'
These questions burned through his conscious like a cigarette through skin. The pain was torturous and the scars were not going to heal in any time soon.

"Boss.... Boss!.... B O S S ! ! !" Moka came round, Hank was calling on his attention. Good old Hank, if nothing else, this man was more loyal than a wife. "We're being stalked by elements of the Hellfire Legion, they stopped in Kepler but I can assure you they'll try to ambush us if we made our way back into Liberty. What should we do?"

Moka thought about it a little, the pain alleviated from his face for a moment. "Head on through to Oita, we'll sneak back into Galileo from there and make berth to gather supplies from Padua." Hank about turned and hollered out at the crew relaying the instructions. If anything, these men will follow his lordship either through devotion or fear. Either worked for him.

As the Disaster started up her cruise engines, Moka returned to his throne and got himself lost in his thoughts of anger.

As the dreadnought made it through the jumphole to Oita, Moka looked on through teary eyes. Another night of broken sleep, tortured by dreams of the one he loved. Betrayal like this is unfathomable and to find something new everyday that brought the pain back into the fold was starting to be unbearable.

"Hank, how long till Galileo?" Moka asked his leading hand.

"Not long, my Lord. Maybe an hours travel and we'll be seeing familiar space. Those Hellfire assets have gone well off LRS."

Moka looked out a porthole, dreaming of happier times. If anything, at least he still had the loyalty of those that saw through the lies and bullcrap that Thing had lead them all to believe.

Hank called out; "Should I contact the Junkers?" Moka's face contorted a little, and a scowl dominated his expression.

"Yes, but not the Congress. They are a liability now, I would like to see if reconciliation with the Marauders is possible." Moka explained.

The Disaster was well engaged on her cruise towards the Galileo system as various Interspace assets pestered the looming hulk as it passed through their space.
