Today a player turned my attention to a weird thing. First you open navmap (F6) then click on the 'Universe map' button at the top left corner. Then click it again to show you SIRIUS SECTOR being connected to LOST SECTOR. Inside Lost sector there is only Touraine which is a system awaiting deletion.

Can someone explain me the purpose of LOST SECTOR? Sirius had enough space to have Touraine so I guess there's more to it. Maybe a way to include almost deleted systems in a better explained environment? Or is there a plan to add new systems for that sector? I'm really curious!

Afaik, its just a sector where needless systems are dumped.

Pretty much, as Alley explained in this post and this post earlier: It's currently used as a convenient way to get systems that don't exist iRP (any more) off the main Sirius navmap.

What about the galaxy map, the new sector and systems inside ? Is it just me who missed something or is it an open secret ?
