Basic InformationJoseph Grooms, Codename Tantalus. Born on Planet Leeds in 793 A.S., currently 29 years old.
Backstory: I was born on Planet Leeds in 793 A.S. it was a standard life on Leeds, one of Poverty and smog, a lot of Smog actually. It was a wonder I lasted as long as I did living on Leeds. When did I leave exactly? Well I left Leeds in 814 A.S. after I spent a late night drunk browsing through promotional videos by an Organization called the Order, woke up to a banging on his door, next thing you know the bloody Armed Forces charged into my room with a stunstick. You don't need to have half a wit to figure out what happened next. Once I woke up he was on a docking pad, with a Clydesdale in front of me with the Armed Forces Insignia on its side> I knew what was going to happen, the government would imprison me for believing in what they labeled "Propaganda". So instinct took over after that, as soon as my guard turned around I bolted for a nearby ship, and lucky for me it was an Officers Paladin which he left on. I jumped in with a graze on my shoulder. Managed to get the ship up luckily without major damage from the officers guns. I bolted into the Tau's as quick as I could, asking my way around until I eventually found myself on a Freeport in Omicron Theta, one of the guys in the bar happened to be an Order Agent, so I asked him a simply question, where the hell do I go to join. He uploaded a few coordinates on my ship, then after a few hours of this Nomad and that Corsair I found myself in the Order home in Omicron Minor, I quickly found a home on Toledo where I for a short while worked on a docking pad unloading shipments from the Houses, some even from corporations like Ageira and GMG. A year after I managed to actually find myself as an agent on the front of the Omicrons, combating the Nomad threat, I developed a few friends, one of the more notable ones being a man by the name Jason Orack, he was in this special division of the cell called "O'Rhu" yet I was never interested, it was a relatively good life working for the Order, but good things never last forever, as was demonstrated in 818 A.S. a date that is ingrained in the head of every veteran agent.
Fall Of Toledo: the fall of Toledo is something that has lived in the hearts of every agent for the past 4 years, its the same for me. It was a day that was dark from the beginning. It started off with every agent having to prepare for an emergency launch, the Grand Admiral was working left and right to prepare for the battle, he even went as far to contact the BHG Core for help. The Crazier thing is that they actually said that they'd help us. Once you got into the cockpit that day, its just not describable, I'm no pessimist but I felt in my heart this day wouldn't end in our victory. My job was simple, escort a convoy of freighters carrying important data. I could see countless explosions in the sky by the time we had to depart, the Nomads were already bombarding the surface, what they planned to do with the planet? We had no idea at the time. Once our convoy entered space it was already shot to hell. Our convoy was probably what, 10 freighters and 6 escorts? That didn't last long, half the freighters were gone in nearly 5 minutes after we undocked, but we had to stay our damn path. A Gunboat sized Nomad decloaked on the convoy just as we made it our of the fire zone, want to guess how long those other 5 freighters lasted? Seconds, only seconds. After that the remaining escorts broke off and joined the defense of the planet. Our escort wing came under command of the O'Rhu cell via orders from High Command, so we joined the fray. I found Jason in all of this and we worked together, taking down the fighters left and right. That was before we realized our entire fleet was dissipating, We had lost a huge amount of our capital ships, and then the very Bounty Hunters that fought with us, then turned on the Order, High command ordered that we bail out of the fight, so we then retreated into the nebula, even before we all had jumped I heard a monumental sound across the system as Toledo practically exploded. Its Gravity well collapsed and planetary debris flew out into space. It was at that moment the entirety of the remaining fleet piled through the jump hole, before the nomads could find us here.
Current Day:After Toledo fell to the Nomads the Order went in search of a new home. We found that home in Omicron Mu. Settling on Planet Akabat, the Order has done well for itself in the past 4 years. Once the Order was stable in its new home, I wanted to ensure that our home stayed safe. I came to Jason, who was the new leader of the O'Rhu Cell, and I began flying for them then and there. Over time, I have worked my way through ranks, despite personal problems, I've stayed true to protecting the Order's new home. I've made friends and enemies that won't soon be forgotten.
