Histoire
The history of the La Verite stretches back before its re-construction in 721 AGS. Originally it was a Royal Navy Dreadnought stationed in the Champagne system, however, when the Council took control of the Champagne system in 719 AGS the La Verite was nearly destroyed. Having discovered the wreckage that same year, the Council brought the Warship back to Reims Station for repairs. The records of this ship were lost due too the extensive damage it took during the battle for Champagne, however, the ship was repaired and re-outfitted in 721 AGS.
Having been rebuilt just after the failed invasion of Languedoc, the CLN-La Verite was stationed near the Burgundy Jumpgate in the Champagne system for defense. That was until the invasion of the Languedoc system began in 729 AGS, during this time the CLN-La Verite was one of the warships mobilized in this massive offensive. Once the Languedoc Minefeild was open to the Council. The CLN-La Verite was one of the few battleships that had successfully navigated the field, and took refuge in the Russillon system for some time.
Having been repaired and re-outfitted for the second time, the CLN-La Verite now serves with the Bretonian fleet in the Dundee system. Repelling royalist attacks and occasionally raiding the Edinburgh system, the CLN-La Verite is one of the oldest Redemptions to still be in service.
