Rheinland-Spezialtruppen
The Rheinland-Spezialtruppen is a force created after the Nomad wars, by the Rheinland Government. Originally formed for research and defence against Nomads, the task eventually grew, and now the Rheinland-Spezialtruppen is dedicated to protecting Rheinland. The faction is in a way similar to that of the LSF for Liberty, a protection force for home, and for tasks to big for the Police, and to small or inappropriate for the Military.
The Rheinland-Spezialtruppen Will use a Rheinland Police ID, Aswell as a Police Affiliation. and the Area of Operation will be all of Rheinland Territory, however, any task that falls ouside of the area may be pursued ONLY IF THE SYSTEM IS FRIENDLY.
As a Hessian I have observed that Rheinland authorities (RM and RFP) have quite limited presence in the server (at least in my time zone) which is a shame given the state New Berlin is in right now. In my opinion Rheinland needs more powerful fist to rule.
As such I personally would like to see a powerful presence RM and RFP first before going to diversify the forces. As things stand now LPI and LN have a lot of players so LSF can be justfified and is good. This is not the case in Rheinland. In Rheinland should first be established a strong basic policing presence before going out and doing your own thing.
if we would just pretend that your spezialtruppen would exist then you'd probably find out doing 99% of the time the regular policing work, scanning traders, fighting pirates etc.
In this light I would advice joining RFP and discussing with Monk about the forming a special wing WITHIN the RFP framework. Monk has a pretty good plans and has done the groundwork for setting up the RFP, so you'd get the benefits as well as a good umbrella to work under towards your own spezialtruppen. The only problem you could encounter is the equipment you had in mind. Fighters and bombers "only".
As RM has established a pretty strong framework and mythos and way of doing and handling things in Rheinland space doing a vastly diverse thing there is extremely difficult and will run into trouble.
I sincerely advice joining or talking to RM and RFP and putting the idea out to them. Rheinland needs more fresh blood.
