Today, the SiN Tech Corporation announced two very exciting developments; that the SiN Tech Experimental Frigate, the Unrelenting, will be assisting Rheinland Military forces in order to keep Rheinland pirate free, and that the Mobile Production Plant & Research and Development ship, the Superior, will be aiding in the reconstruction of Leeds, which is still recovering from the massive orbital bombardments done by the Phantom terrorists.
The Unrelenting, as stated before, is an experimental Frigate, utilizing several new technologies, such as denser armor, powerful shield busters known as Infernos, and several SiN Tech only Heavy Energy Projectors. The Heavy Energy Projectors, or Hev EPs, are an experimental type of weapon, not using the standard turret and fireing mechanism, but an array of projectors that center on a point, and create a very deadly bolt of energy. The bolt is then charged, and using a very accurate and controlled magnetic field, accelerated towards a target. This Frigate is the only know ship of it's class, and will be providing assistance to the Rheinland Military in dealing with pirates or terrorists who might threaten SiN Tech holdings. Already, the Unrelenting and a Rheinland Military Gunboat, identified as the Cobra wing commander, Jessica, have taken steps against a newer terrorist organization, know as Davy Jones Crew. The unknown Saber VHF was destroyed in this join effort, and SiN Tech announced that it will be happy to help the RM in further engagements to protect Rheinland, and SiN Tech facilities in the area.
The MPP/RD Superior, is another unique ship. This converted asteroid miner boasts an entire class VI production facility, the only higher class being class V (Large shipyards, and planet-based production plants) as well as several research labs within it's armored shell. This ship is now in orbit around Leeds, producting necissary components in space and shipping them to the surface. It is equipped with a powerful shield, 4 cruiser class missile turrets, and several EPs. SiN Tech also announced plans for producing a Class V production facility on the planet itself, as well as the new home of a major research base. Both of these will be located on Leeds, and greatly aid the reconstruction efforts.
