I started playing when I was six in 2007. I play through the whole campaign in Vanilla every summer. I can't get enough of it and it never gets old. I've been playing for close to 9 years and I know everything there is to know in Vanilla. I had landed at every base, found every jump hole, visited every system, mined every wreck, fully explored every system. When you do this you end up with like 200,000 credits at the end of Liberty. That is without taking missions.
But then I found disco. Then I became a scrub again. There is so much content in disco compared to Vanilla I don't think I can ever learn it all. I think it is fun to be a noob again. Even the fighting mechanics are different. I have to get used to turret steering, which I sort of am, and stuff like that.
Always thought Freelancer had a great plot and was one of the best video game plots I'd ever seen. Personally my favorite game.
