I had fun, but that is because the Core won. The cap fight was longer than most and somewhat intense. It ended one-sided, though. The Sair caps said that they had fun, but I guess they were just polite. Maybe Wesker should stop flying caps, that shameless capwhore.
* Thunderer doesn't get the irony

By the way, kudos for separating the snubs and the caps.

I think Corsairs managed to get one (1) kill in each separate fight.

Seriously, if you [meaning: participants] do not care to also balance for skill levels, these events are pointless.
Just look at the names of who played on which side, and we could have saved ourselves the time to log for 20 minutes of being pointlessly massacred by superior skill forces.

The cap fight was pretty intense and not just a roll over actually. I was dried out, I think thunderer was as well. You were fighting pretty good, regrouping than re-attacking made the fight last longer than I anticipated. So I don't think this should be applied to your cap pilots.

Where you messed up on caps is when you split off from each other you left the legates exposed and didn't move as a unit like you were previously. The makos moved as a unit, hence they were able to take out the other caps.

If a fight is intersting for you, if you -almost- lose a single ship while the other group is wiped out, we have radically different views of what is "pretty intense".

The video is a great lesson on how to do it correctly.
I can only admit that you did amazingly well.

But that does not translate into "intense" or "enjoyable" or "tense" or "equal" or "worth repeating".

Just understand finally that the aces are the key to making these events cool (by distributing equally to both sides) and that it does not change a thing if you later on tell the wiped out chanceless group that you rolled over that they did well enough.

P.S: After watching the video, I have to correct my statement you quoted. There were zero kills on the cap fight and 100 % loss from Sair side.
