Now, most people make their money via trading, and hauling ore. They make millions up to billions, buy all the ships they want,
then crave something to shoot. They usually end up looking around for fights, get some, but really all the ships end up being
toys at that point.

Now most missions are predictable, on a certain level they hop from easy npcs, to harder fighters, to gunboats, to cruisers and
destroyers (which is dependent on the faction you are fighting) and at last, battleships. However, the money reward is mostly useless, since the players who are doing those missions against capital ships ALREADY HAVE BILLIONS. So when you have these really well paying missions, honestly not many people are running them for a profit. This should be changed to get more use out of the content that this mod has.

There should be more missions, and maybe mission choices. This honestly can't be too hard to do, and honestly it would be more fun to do (for the developers), to make these missions a reality. You should throw in gunboats with weaker shields and turrets, or even transports. For assassination missions, there should be a weaker gunboat in comparison to fighters, and a destroyer when there are gunboats, etc. Maybe for "destroying the cargo", you should have a storage depot spawn, big or small depending (like station size ones), and have strong weapon platforms around it. Mix up the npcs together
to make the missions a little more interesting. A small transport could definitely pass for a small gunboat for easier missions and would be very realistic for destroying the cargo missions.

Also, why not have some bombers spawn in with some of the capital ships? With fighters as well? Make these missions extra special, and make them tactical missions with new names that are available at certain military bases. A bomber escort with a capital ship is realistic, and awesome. It would be an easy and great change to make.

The A.I in most missions spawn in and fly exactly the same, like birds in a flock, making the same choices, flying the same way until targeted. This may or may not be easily changed but it is something to look forward to in the future.

The name of this update of the mod is "Discovery Freelancer: CONQUEST". Which should imply that there is more conquest and fighting going on, as well as profit. In this time of the mod, with trading and hauling ore being the norm, we should make missions extra profitable and fun, actually giving a huge challenge to the community. Maybe even make Gallia and Bretonia even more of a fun event. The more activity in those systems from the current player base could change the next updates of the mod, and maybe even SAVE Bretonia. Its an interesting subject to think about.

i think they should be made easier and less profitable,maybe even missions to destroy transports..

mission in this mod should only be for repping a character in some way that the player desires

Why not make missions more profitable?Because we need traders ,those are the ones that creates both unlawful and lawful interactions while missions are just a singleplayer online and to be honest we lack the players numbers in order to 'afford' buffing missions to the point its more profitable than trading or at least as much as it

Yes, but missions could be made a little more interesting and fun, with new ideas added and
some fresh content it could give a new avenue to making profits, other than just trading and
hauling ore in after-hours when nobody is online.

If you make some interesting missions with new types of npc ships to fight and up the profit
and tell everyone about it, I'm sure you will have missions being done more often. And considering that most of the newbies on the server are just mining Helium all day, it could be
an awesome new change to the server, which is needed.
