As requested by lyth, that discussion can split from Durandals thread into here, because that was not there for Docking rings

This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.

Outdated blueprints that made their way to the blackmarkets, new design to them. End of the story.

Gallia should have Docking Ring parts. They already have Gate/Lane parts.

I'd also push for Docking Ring parts to have an unlawful sell point, to explain Order, Outcast, Corsair, etc docking rings on their planets.

Show me one piece of lore that supports the idea that non-Ageira/Solar Docking Rings are a thing.

Vanilla Freelancer. The toledo docking ring was even part of the main story.

Corsair and OC docking rings make zero sense. Don't try to discredit Snak3's valid points with non-canon material that only looks like a Docking Ring because it's the only solar Digital Anvil could use at the time.

lol now we're deciding what's canon or not from vanilla, you're still forgetting about Toledo

Didn't those rings have backstory anyway?
