Born in Manchester, son of Kyle and Marian Phils, Edward learned how to fly a ship since he was young. His father was a famous Bounty Hunter and his mother owned a gold trading company. Edward respected his father and wanted to be just like him.
He didn't like the idea of receiving orders so he became a mercenary. Aided by his parents he bought a ship and the best equipment. His first contracts were simple assassinations. Edward built up a career and became known in Bretonian space.
When Edward was 21 his mother had to go to New Berlin for a transaction. But she had never reached it. Her ship was attacked by pirates killing everyone on board. Edward sworn to revenge his mother and he began to accept more and more contracts hoping that one day he will find the ones who killed his mother.
