The topic of the current Nomad VHF, the Rabisu, is a varied one, so I will list my opinion on the pros and cons according to what I see in the community eye.

PROS:

  1. The design of the ship aesthetically is well done and a good reflection off the original ship line.

  2. The lighting on the ship is beautiful, bright, and the "tentacles" of a light that flow out of the ship, while the ship is stable, are beautiful as well and can capture attention as the ship was designed to do.

  3. The ship, for its user, has a generous powercore which allows freedom in weapon selection.

  4. The ship is maneuverable as well.

CONS:

  1. The lighting and brightness on the ship, for those who are opposing it in combat, and be distracting and confusing, and can throw off aim and tracking of the ships direction. The "tentacles" tend to shake rigidly and lag behind, giving a false sense of motion to the opposer on the actual direction the ship is taking.

  2. The ship's brightness, as briefly mentioned in the previous con, can be irritating to fight (depending on the opposer). Some will say it is "blinding" to fight or some will say it is fine, or somewhere inbetween.

  3. These cons can also count as pros, for the pilot of the ship. To explain further, these traits can be used against those who oppose the pilot in combat, using the "tentacles" and the brightness as extra tools against enemies in combat. It can be considered a realistic survival trait for the ship, possibly, but it all depends on collective opinion.

Now I can list some simple PROS and CONS for the old Nomad VHF, the Assassin
(Sascya). Note this is from my memory of flying the ship.

http://discoverygc.com/wiki/Sascya

PROS:

  1. The ship had a higher power output (you can correct me if I'm wrong).

  2. The ship had an option to mount a Nomad Missile Launcher of the types available.

  3. The ship had higher armor than the current Nomad VHF.

CONS:

  1. The design was not as sleek as the current VHF, and had a decently sized
    hitbox.

  2. The ship was slower in turn rate than the current VHF.

Now it can be argued that all of these listed should all PROS or all CONS, because it depends on who is flying it and who is going against it, for both the Rabisu and the Sascya.

So I made a poll to gather some votes on what the community thinks about it, and I am open to any opinion on the PROS and CONS listed above. Thank you for your time.

Up, up the long, delirious burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or ever eagle flew —
And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

It still exists ingame but as a very nerfed ship. I still have one K'Hara tagged.

Anyway, I think it should still exist as an alternative ship, but apparently it has a very weird hitbox.
