Just to make it quick, before the server upgraded its hardware by moving to a new server, I was averaging about 160ms ping. The ping never really bothered me, as I had 0% lag and 0% loss nearly 99% of the time.

However, ever since the server migrated, every time I log on, no matter what time, I have consistent lag and loss (both around 10% most of the time), and my ping has increased to 200ms on average.

I don't know if this is pure coincidence, or if somehow the new server location doesn't like U.S. players very much. On a different game, in a server hosted in the same location as this one, I average 160ms ping, just like here. However, when the (disco) server migrated and I came online on this other game in question, my ping and connection quality retained.

Again, probably just pure coincidence, and I'm going to have to find some way to deal with it.

R.I.P. my ability to pvp, since everyone teleports around now

Try Tunnelbear.
Some people solved such moments by using proxyies that connect to the server using different routes.

PSA: If you have been having stutter/FPS lag on Disco where it does not run as smoothly as other games, please look at the fix here: https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthrea...pid2306502

I took a look at it, but I don't think 500MB will be enough for Disco. Might be over or underestimating it, but I don't think it will be very useful.

Try it first and see if it works.
