The sneakiness of the single player nomads aside We can't hide metagame infect the heads of all the critical factions...again and cause another war now can we.
As with past threads about the feedback on the nomad speech and communication. (this was the latest) you can see of the many options available the majority felt a change to something more understandable was...... needed.
I never treated the faction as something that could rest on its laurels when it is the premier threat to humanity. The nomad faction since before public noms were implemented had a somewhat... larger responsibility to cater to everyone involved not just itself. i mean what's the point if we're not out there and interacting? what's the point if our interactions are underwhelming confusing and or bothersome to a majority of new players out there? You have to change. you have to adapt and be as recognisable as a threat from someone who's played here 8 years or 8 minutes. and while i appreciate your opinion about the honesty thing nomads were never liars in rp. No as long as i've been in charge. infact if you read the nomad lore posted since 2012 and my rewrite when i came back that's never ever changed.
I dare you to point out an instance where they HAD to lie to anyone.
As for those public noms. i have no control over their quality level or their roleplay so frankly this only affects them if they want out of the omicrons.
As for the sounds.. No idea if we would ever be able to use them. but i mean were on a strange waiting list for things. for instence if you take a trip to nomspace youll see the new ships...... we cant use........
I always used visions whenever I spoke with my nom. I would use like a small child and use that in visions to communicate with people on a nom, worked pretty well for me.
