To whoever it may concern.
My name is Zeke Inoue. I am an independent pilot in service of no one but I write in a very urgent matter, which is restriction of access to the Newport, an independent base that is within GMG Space. I am not fully aware of the situation behind such a decision, so the small explanation should do a thing before I would be right under The Guild's barrel of a gun.
The Guild is currently embroiled in a dispute with certain inhabitants of Newport Station, who have been deemed to be in violation of Guild law and are refusing to cooperate.
As a result, the station is under blockade by the Guild paramilitary and is strictly off-limits to all traffic.

Mind me asking then with whom you were speaking then, since the Newport Station is not controlled by anyone, beside the inhabitants themselves? For what I know, the loose administration - or the closest what could be to the actual administration - of Newport is aware of The Guild's law and would never break them in the first place. We all are Freelancers whom seek no war with anyone. That is why we settled away from the house space and undertake all sorts of minor jobs.
But breaking the laws within the Guild Space? It is something none of us, Freelancers of Newport, would ever do. You have the guns we would never risk to be pointed at us, instead them being directed at the threats that could harm Newport and its inhabitants.
Please do keep in mind we are maintaining the base by ourselves and we seek no leadership or even the political influence, ourselves sheltered under The Guild's safety. If anyone would ever say that Newport to be under control of a single entity, he or she is wrong and the claims are highly invalid.
