But yeah, I'd be more active on my pc if there were more than 5 people using it currently. I don't mind the program personally and it's for sure better than Skype (although that doesn't say much) but I doubt an entire community will switch unless something extreme happens like Skype going down or everyone getting hacked.

Help making the change by ditching the skype desktop client in favour of the discord one and keep skype only to the web version

I cant see how this hacking is a problem. In the 7 years ive been using skype i ahvent had a single such problem with it, becuase I always read the links people send. Just dont click the links and there isnt a problem
