I'm going to abandon formalities and facades as I say this.
I've not sent this to justify what happened to the Freeport. What happened was an atrocity, one I myself can't bring myself to justify and see myself to blame for as well, no matter how indirectly I might have been involved. My silence and lack of action to negate the loss of life is complicit to the slaughter.
In this communication. I will deliver a set of four names. All of which presented with reasonings. People who were directly responsible for what happened during the incident. From the side of my own banner will I begin the stating of names who may justly blamed.
A woman named 'Jess'. Not to be confused with someone named 'Scarlett'. This person named in the former as well as any like-minded followers who see exploiting our brotherhood as a method of circumventing honesty and contentedness are in violation of our own oath.
The Core Wrote: I must not take advantage of the Core brotherhood in order to oppress or take violent or unreasonable advantage of others. I must be content and honest. If I break this oath I will be killed by fire.
There will be measures to correct this and ensure their cycle of senseless aggression and discontent insubordination ends. You can be rest assured whoever I am, that I am not the type to let something go quietly. This person and her zealous peers are responsible for other better brethren of mine losing their lives. I will never forgive them for this.
I take a moment to remind peers who walk a fine line what their true duty is. Not one of blind servitude but one of justice. The oath you swore binds you to this. Do reacquaint yourself.

These sections provide you with the ability to be what you truly are, yet they are frequently distorted and abused by those with weaker wills into mere tools to enact harm and discord. This goes against what I feel the oath truly stands for, or perhaps I am the only person left who values such sentiment.
I place no blame upon the vast majority of unarmed and untrained zoners who reside in their numerous shelters dotted among the stars. We all do what we must to survive, that is within human nature.
However, vessels such as the I-401 and Arcadia were catalysts to an already tyrannical opposition force. An excuse was looked for by some of my weaker brethren, these two captains and their crews provided such an excuse.
Shifting focus to the event of the NEMP bombing which many a brethren of mine has condoned, but I do not. This was a cunning operation done under a guise of a 'false flag'. Brethren of mine labeled as either missing or killed in action returned from their graves with retribution on their minds. An all too convenient course of action given initial tension, a familiar act of a match being thrown into a pile of spilled fuel. The fallen bodies of my brethren were defiled by influences greater than that of our own and twisted to perform these actions.
You have your four names. So in summary I state them again while I await my execution or whatever punishment befalls this act of honesty. Jess, someone not to be confused with someone associated to a similar name, but rather the woman who does indeed have a manly disposition, her and her impressionable followers are in defiance of even our own oath. The vessels I-401 and Arcadia. Last and far.. far from the least, the subverted tools of those beasts that lurk in the abyss.
With this, I hope some clarity was provided. I pray for the souls lost in all the chaos and beg for some form of forgiveness for failing the true duties I swore to perform. Remember the line you walk and how thin and fickle we as people may be.

Indeed, this was an atrocity. As I've seen, both Zoners and the lower downs in the Core have felt the depressing impact of this situation.
Too many losses, it seems.
These four certainly contributed. That pile of steroids and those who share her views are nothing more than barbarians, and will bring nothing but loss to all of us. Seems most your leaders aren't so much different though. I'm not gonna condone your choice to throw your hat in with that bunch.
If anything, your losses are very well in good justice, but those with sense can at least try to make things better.
The I-04 and the Arcadia should be dealt with appropriately, but I believe we should handle that.
And as for... Our blue friends who's home is in the Omicrons, I'm not quite sure what to believe. We've been trampling on their territory since we showed up in Sirius. But of course they attacked when we were at our most weak- From fighting against ourselves, no less.
Murder is no solution here either. Something must be solved to deal with the Nomads, and the Core's ideals are in no way suited to doing so. But... That's a topic for another day, I suppose.

Seems you at least think you're doing right. I suppose... If you need a scoundrel for all this business, you know where to give me a call. Your employers aren't gonna react nicely if they figure out where these rumors are coming from.
