Liberty Carrier Not Collecting Nanobots

I acquired a Liberty Carrier but this ship doesn't collect nanobots in space. Is this its design or am I missing something.

Battleships cant use nanos anymore

All battleships' nanobots have been integrated into their hull. The Liberty carrier doesn't have nanobots any more, but while it used to have 960K hull, now it has 1,900K hull. Just read the ship's infocard and you'll see the confirmation.
