Ship advice

I'm starting a new minor roleplay which would involve flying a Light Fighter. I'm playing a computer controlled drone, not AI as such. Because of this it needs to appear almost cockpitless. I don't require powerful guns, as long as it has one is all i need. However I'd rather not be continually killed by NPCs so advice would be helpful.
Requirements:
Small
Unusual looking
Civilian
decent shield
decent armour (radiation)

Looks-wise i like the Kadesh LF however it only has 1900 armour... as i want it to be operating in environmentally hostile areas, such as high radiation zones it needs to be able to survive.

At present I'm thinking the Kushan scout

What's the LF with 4 class 8 guns that you can buy off the BS in Frankfurt? That would probably suit. It's like...odd...and tiny...and has class 8 guns (dunno what class the shield is, it was so odd, I decided not to examine further)

I suggest you head to the battleship Altenburg in the Dresden system, there's a LF there that will nicely fit the bill, I believe.

Or, barring that, a more powerful weird LF is sold on the Battleship Koblenz in Frankfurt. Both are as good as they are peculiar.

The Somtaaw in Dresden you mean Dusty? I am considering it.

The list at present is between:
Kadesh - favourite looks-wise
Somtaaw - doesn't look as good as Kadesh, but slightly better defense
Raiders - is a bit dull
Kushan - Favourite stats-wise

What other options are there?

The Tigershark is an epic ship statswise, though its only weird through virtue of being, well... Weird. It's sold on Freistadt in Omega 7, but is technically a IMG/Civi ship.

The drone is supposed to be quite unintelligent and makes mistakes

True dat, it's another one of the airplane ships. The HW ships are really your best bets and the non Taiidan/Raider ones provide the greatest "machine" design appeal.

I would definitely suggest the kushan ship in frankfurt...was thinking about using it myself for almost the same thing..

Aye, think I'll go with the Kushan Scout.... its name fits too.

Could a dev toughen up the Kadesh LF for 4.85 though? then someone might actually use it *shock*
