The young woman awoke on the floor, a red alarm blaring, but yet seeming so quiet. She slowly climbed to her feet, approaching a shattered mirror, looking at herself. Her right arm was not normal. It was sleek, cybernetic. Her whole body was. She had no memory of who she was, or where she had awoken. An explosion rocked the room. "Pressurized environment in section 3, 4, and 7 compromised, all personnel evacuate." An automated voice ordered. It was clear she was in danger. Her mind raced miles a minute. Who was she? Why was she here? What had been done to her? She had no time to think no matter how fast her thoughts, she was in danger and had to escape. Scrambling to find anything, she took a small data drive with her, disregarding her nude state and trying to find an exit as demonstrated by the signs. Yet another explosion rocked the station, it was clear that whatever this place was, it was under attack.
She hastily made her way down the corridors, finding the escape pod bay, but all pods had been launched."Warning: Station defenses breached, all personnel evacuate immediately." It warned. The Facility was being boarded, but by who? What was happening? Once more in a hasty fashion, she ran down more corridors that hadn't collapsed. Soon she found herself in the hangar bay, now having a sight on what was going on outside. A massive battle was under way, fighters that seemed very familiar yet so foreign in sight. Few craft remained, most were shattered or crushed, but a couple were operational. Opting for the closer Raven's Talon, she made her way to it. Inside she found a man, but he gave no response, she didn't even realize the man was dead, his space suit breached. It didn't occur to her that she didn't need oxygen, her breathing was only her brains habit.
Despite her lack of memories she very unsoundly managed a takeoff in the Talon, soon exiting the hangar and into the fighter battle raging outside. The two sides she didn't know, but the asteroid base she was inside had taken quite the beating. She made way to escape as quickly as she could, trying to make her way in the cloud but the sensors were not very efficient. Soon enough though, she had found a tradelane and managed to make her way to civilization, New Tokyo, though the system was as foreign to her as ever. Confused, lost, curious and broke, she had to find out who she even was, what had happened to her, or anything about herself, her life, or her captors.
Her escape was not unseen, and several of the attackers had taken notice of the fleeing vessel but opted not to engage, their orders were to capture the facility. Inside, the attackers leadership stood, inspecting the lab the girl had found herself in. "Ma'am.. we suspect the one fleeing vessel had one of the experiments held in this chamber. One spoke up to the silver-haired soldier. "Find the experiment and bring it to me." She ordered, her subordinate saluting and marching off.
