It's a small item, but still worth noting for people like me who maintain either a PoB or a sense of immersion that requires crew on their warship.

As it stands, the current description for the commodity known as 'Crew' is as follows:

Unlike fighters, larger ships cannot be piloted and maintained by one person single-handedly. That's where the crew comes in handy. Crew consists of engineers, workers, soldiers, medics, navigators, scientists, and various other specialists. They can be hired on all populated planets of Sirius, and on some space stations.

However, it's very misleading.
The description states that Crew can be hired on every planet and some space stations. In contrast to this, they can't actually be 'hired' on any planet, and the only places to get them are either on shipyards, Freeports, prison stations or the random base that just decides to sell them.

Either it's outdated, or the placement for their selling points is very misleading compared to the actual description. I personally don't see why it's like this, aside from the above reasons, as 'trading crew' isn't even a logical concept, and not very viable, and wouldn't even be of much use considering the only use for it mechanically is as 'crew' for a PoB.

Can someone explain this?

Why is the crew in your cargo hold then?

The info-card is simply outdated. Crew is one of the commodities that is required for PoBs and thus part of the "system" that forces players to get stuff from all over Sirius in order to maintain and operate a PoB. The commodity itself doesn't have any trading value, just like Heat Sinks or other PoB-only commodities.

That's at least what I'd guess.

It has some trading value, and by that I mean it's a 500 credit profit from going across Sirius.

If it's outdated, I can understand that. If it's not, which honestly would still make sense, then it's sell points need to be fixed. You can also get it from downed NPC caps, which makes it being part of the PoB system requirement a little more awkward imo.
