We have decided to split off our newly created mining wing into its own section, mostly for the sake of a single centralized forum presence and advertising of mining operations from one source forum user.
You will also notice that we have chosen not to tag these mining ships ingame.
This is a conscientious decision on our part and is due to mining ships raking in abnormaly large amounts of ingame time that we do not see as valid ingame presence. Since we wish our tag activity and server presence to be judged by more, let us say, productive means - these mining ships will remain untagged.

The Omicron Beta Mining Operations are a section within the Amalfi Directorate, ran by the charismatic family head known as Madam Aldamafori. The Aldamafori family are a generations old string in the Maltese heritage specializing in deep space profiteering and organization. Their frequent use of expandable slave workforce is well documented, especially for the more dangerous regions within the Outcast territory, but on Malta itself they prefer to use paid labor for best results.
Best of luck! I would say that if you are mining for convoys or transports (not PoBs) then it's activity that really does contribute to the server and you'd be fine/not judged for tagging those ships
