Command And Conquer 3

I...Hate this game with a passion just like I hated Red Alert 2. It took out the pure brutality and awesomeness of Command and Conquer that Tiberian Sun captured so well, and replaced it with awful unit specialties that made no sense (I love throwing 1 grenade and then killing like 20 guys in a building).

It also utilizes the squad system, which I dislike in every game besides Company of Heroes.

I'd rather play Tiberian Sun Singleplayer than this anyday.

By brutality, you mean insufferably slow game-play speed unless you turn in onto fast, at which time you get a war factory up only to have it Ion Cannoned. Thirty seconds later, your power plant gets hit. And another.

And another.

On easy.

Anywho. I heart C&C 3.

Oh, and Red Alert 2 is awesome. Irrefutably, inarguably, awesome.

Actually, that is what I blame it on...

It's just...Not the Command and Conquer I used to know and love. I even hate the new cutscenes, even the old ones weren't much better >,>

I modded Command and Conquer 3 with its SDK, to make veteran units feel more god-like (especially ones with Heroic rank), and made base defences be able to gain rank too. Heroic Obelisk of Light anyone?:P

Tiberian Sun was made in 1999. You should be able to run it >.>

Last time I played it, it was really laggy, framerate-wise. I've gotten a slightly better one, but I'm lazy and don't want to install it.

C&C is an epic RTS, but unfortunatly it wasn't as good as the other RTS's avaliable at release (CoH, OF, DoW etc...).

Red Alert 3 I enjoy, but it's going straight on the shelf as soon as DoW2 arrives (should get my pre release tororrow!) and StarCraft II (couldn't wangle a pre-release *tear*)
