Due to all the flames and salt my actions caused I think an apology is due. I didn't intend to offend anyone. It's a game after all. The real intent of attack is the base's proximity to the mining zone. I've seen tons of threads about this, I'm not going into this here. I'm here to say sorry. Not because of the attack, but because I made you feel so bad I didn't want to. As a side note, I know it's charming to drop a base in the field, you can do that. I just want to make it more risky for anyone trying such enterprises (which obviously yield high rewards). Build farther away (maybe hide your base even) and you have a whole different story.
Although I believe no rules were broken, I still acknowledge under-RP'd that base attack declaration and I also missed many of the communications Cublin Miners Pub was conducting. There is much to learn on my part too. I will take more care of that in the future. I hope no irreversable harm was done and you will stay a part of this community
I actually don't know how sincere you are to be honest.
It was a Bretonian approved base, not a drop-in port-a-loo illegal mining base. It is deliberately in the area, to provoke and promote RP. There has been a tonne of it. And a huge amount of in-game RP especially. Why in hades cannot people see the value is not in attacking the base, for cheap giggles, but in generating RP around it, as some have. It isn't designed to be a boring no-attention-getting faction storage facility. It is there to make RP opportunities. Can't when it is destroyed (for the fourth time I might add).
I came here to try and cool down your passion a little bit. I have different opinion from yours, but I still respect yours. I will not try to convince you of anything. You RP- generation is a wonderful thing but there are other factors you might be missing. If you're interested I can tell you in detail but I don't want to bother you otherwise. Cheer up! You are - mostly - doing good! Have a nice day Paddy!
