Viewed live and in color, the eruption of the Omega-11 red giant shook the entire Omega sector, causing a change both in the lives of the residents as well in the Sirius wide economy that analysts are still trying to ascertain. Connections to systems were lost and new jump-holes have appeared throughout the Omegas.

Good day, I am Killian Hawthorn. Today, after investigating numerous rumors that have arrived from the Omega-3 system, it is confirmed that several miner vessels have loaded up their supplies and disappeared from the system, not being registered their passing through the Cambridge Jumpgate or the Omega-7 Jumpgate.

While we may discern that it has something to do with the spectacular event that happened in the Omega-11 system, as its reddish star went supernova, we still have little to follow apart from rumors that a new system, filled with riches has appeared and now lies squared in the scope of several mining corporations that have interests in the Omega region.

Many independent mining vessels, loaded for bear, uncommon in this region, keep pouring into the Omega-3 system, giving credence to such rumors. The local authorities haven't commented on the remarks of increased traffic or the rumors themselves, their focus turned elsewhere, be it the Gaul front or the Sigmas.
