She sipped the contents of her glass as McIntire spoke. The mentioning of splitting the Ark Royal wings made her frown, but tactic and common sense dictated so. Not that the Gauls made sense since their invasion. It was what it was.
"Understood. It is a sensible and cautious way to deal with them. As for the remainder, I will say my farewells and deal with any personnel transfer I may require from the Ark this evening."
Downing the remaining contents of the glass, the liquid burned her throat as it should. Slightly sighing and putting down the glass, she looked at McIntire.
"And you are right. It has been a while since we last shared a drink and shot the breeze as two random officers, as it were. So, I would be very happy for another drink at the lounge. If you're buying, that is."
A small grin appeared in the corner of her lips as they got up and left the office.
