Erm, well. First I have to say that I am honoured you put so much faith in me to promote me to such a high position. This, is a lot of pressure to take in but ultimately I do accept the promotion and role as Unioners' resident science expert. Although my expertise is in Engineering and not theoretical physics or astronomy I am sure given a long study session I can catch up on both. With the ship you given me and the crew assisting I will be able to undertake and complete the tasking you gave to me.

I will try not to be overwhelmed by this new tasking and of course on my new scientific missions on my new carrier, a carrier! I will require escorts around the areas of interest that you have marked. I also look forward to working with the engineers and scientists of the Freeman drive such a lovely design that I have taken a gander at and spent many long nights thinking about. I will try my best to further the Unioners in technological advancement hopefully not burn out or crash out in how much tasks you have given me.
