Wherever Imogen Jau is, she always carries one of several tiny, yellow paper notepads and a small red pen with her. She owns four such notepads – none are ever found in the same place, as much as she is able to keep it that way. One is kept in her quarters at Ismara, one in her quarters aboard Valravn and the third is kept in an inconsistent location. The fourth is on her person. Every time she visits one of these locations, she swaps the one she has with her for the one stashed there.
All the text inside these notepads is written in a relatively simple, albeit original encryption system that Imogen devised herself, the key to which she has shared with no one. Furthermore, the thus-encrypted text is also written in a shorthand alphabet formerly common among Leeds mineworkers before the planet's depopulation. If one were to find and attempt to read a notepad, it would look like gibberish, but anyone familiar with basic cryptography could likely crack it within a day or two if they were truly determined.
Assigned Ousia. Nervous about dark matter, but it's primal. Darkness is a tool, not an enemy. So are rad meds. I've been reading about architecture- fascinating. Need to read more about prison & mental hospital design history, parks & rec theory. Farming communities? I don't want Ousia to be idyllic- how absurd. It's a pressurized scrap heap right now. We can turn Ousia into a farm and a factory for ideas and developments. I can bring so much good to the tribe if I pull this off right. I we can change Auxesian society with technology. That's what we're supposed to believe, right? We can change ourselves with technology, and change the rest of humanity too, for the better. I have to believe this for everyone else's sake. I we can make it happen. Nothing but Gnosis or Ecclesiastes awaits.
I see what Leviathan meant about hobbies. Got to badger foreign contacts for so much as a wave back, and now Merlin and Achlys on top of normal ppwrk & Ousia? Not used to it but I trust my family. I have to. There's a feeling, tug. A little buzzing, I think it's always been here but never noticed until entering the cloud in Kansas.. Tuttle? Turtle Creek? One of those. It's peaceful. I should worry about this aura, but they trust it. And I trust them.
