The Memory Cyst is a formation aboard The Shrine, which represents one of the Living Archives' characteristics. Despite its unnatural appearance, it provides knowledge that spreads further than mankind's existance in Sirius and beyond, however, it is incredibly hard to access the Memory Cyst without being overwhelmed by the information, risking the user's own sanity. The Oracles use this formation when deemed necessary.
Contrary to beliefs within the Oracle hierarchy, this Cyst does not only share information but can also store it, probably one of the reasons Oracles are obsessed with documenting as much as they can of the ever-growing Sirius.
The Shrine
The Shrine is an ancient station, predating the Nomads and Humans themselves. With very little background, this formation was probably built as a monument to a once great alien race: the Daam K'Vosh. With energy emanating from its shell, it draws visitors to its halls, twisting one's senses in process.
The Station itself has been adapted to fit human life, although it doesn't seem any supplies are coming in or out of the station.
The station appears covered in ancient markings, spread around the corners and edges of its surface. Whether they have a purpose or not, these markings have such a worn appearance that many have already faded, leaving gaps between the phrases. On the station's top, a large, pulsating structure floating between three fangs that anchor with a molten sheet of materials resembling what Nomads are made of.
However, the appearance only fools a stranger's eyes. This construction is inhabited by a mysterious organization known as The Oracles. An organization of unknown origin, and goals as clear as a black hole's end- unknown.
"Light" System
A No-Man's-Land. The "Light" system is an unforgiving, barren land where radiation reigns, destroying anything made by humans in a matter of minutes. The system is designated "Light" to the Oracles because of its bright appearance, and the fact that numerous Nomad structures with high religious values are scattered around the "Light" System's asteroids. Unfortunately, only the natives that somehow manage to survive this System are able to locate these structures, where outsiders become easily stranded, and sometimes inevitably dying.
On the other hand, an unknown interference is blocking any charting and scans within the system, successfully disabling Nav Maps and the communication network.
