SNAC gone?

Hi!

I've seen the Supernova Antimatter Cannon has undergone some changes. By that I mean now it couldn't kill an agonizing pigeon in one shot. The damage is reduced to 18000 / 9000 while all other stats seem to be the same, even energy consumption! The old damage was about 70000 / 35000 iirc. What's the point of the weapon now? Am I missing some characteristic that balances it or is it just a motivation to use different weapons now?

Balance of SNAC Changed, so now they can oneshot SHF and bombers.

The damage value displayed on the stats screen is the damage that the weapon deals to fighters. Against other craft, the SNAC deals its full 132000 damage.

Ah so weapon damage is dealt differently against fighters and other ships! Is there any other weapon that has this attribute?
