Information: During the Second Gallic War, the Voltaire Collective was a small, although extremely radical cell of the Maquis, consisting almost exclusively of anarchists, socialists, and communists. They were known for executing terror attacks mainly on the Colonies, and towards the end of the war, even on the Core Worlds. Because of their operations often causing more civilian casualties than Crown forces, the Collective was publicly shunned by the Council, and even some of the Maquis deemed them too extreme.
The most prominent example would be the Collective's terror attacks committed on Planet Nevers during the opening weeks of 742 AGS. the attacks ultimately caused roughly the same number of deaths both among the planet's civilian populace and it's garrison alike. This action arguably helped the Council to take over Planet Amiens.
In early June of 742, the Collective raided and captured a Kusarian heavy transport, which they used to ram New Paris' Distant Early Warning satellite, in order to launch an asteroid strike on the planet. The plan ultimately failed, when the Royal Intelligence managed to destroy the vessel towing a sizeable asteroid covered in radar dissipation coating.
The GRI attack left most of the Collective dead, the few who managed to escape was either forced to hide, or captured. Recently, the Collective made a comeback, as one of the Maquis cells that considers the Republique a weak puppet, with little correlation to the Council. A series of small time attacks launched, but analysts suggest these were done by potential recruits, rather than the original hardliners of the cell.

The Maquis █ █ █ | █ █ █ While the different cells always had their own differences, they could always count on eachother, no matter who the oppressor was.
Gallic Brigands █ █ █ | █ █ █ The Brigands and the Maquis were in a an mutually profitable relationship for decades. With both groups fall from grace, this bond only strengthened, as the hatred towards the new regime is just one of the many things connecting the two groups.
Unione Corse █ █ █ | █ █ █ Always shifty on their dealings, The Corse ended up in a way better position, than the Maquis or the Brigands did. Even if they found a place closer to the fire, It didn't means they won't do business with the people in the back - If the money's right.
The Minarchy of Provence █ █ █ | █ █ █ Due to the more supportive nature of the population, and the independent nature of the Minarchy, The Collective and the Maquis both limited their actions on it's territory. While not supportive on any official level, it's no secret the black market is easily available.
Foreign Companies █ █ █ | While they may aren't necessarily supporters of the Confederacy, they may be subject for taxation. Foreign vessels are almost always filled with cargo that's useful, or valuable.
Confederal Defense Forces █ █ █ | The same people who served in the Royal Navy at best, traitors to everything the Council stood for at worst. Mercy isn't an option for either case.
Gendarmerie █ █ █ | After the rebranding, most of the Royal Police was given the boot, the Gendarmerie has little common with that organization. Never the less, they are still targets.
Confederal Intelligence █ █ █ | The biggest threat to the Collective and the Maquis, as the CI knows who are they facing with, and what resources they possess for most of the time. They may be extremely valuable if captured, but until that point a deadly opponent.
Gallic Corporations █ █ █ | IDF, GMS, and EFL survived with almost no penalties to speak of. Their vessels usually are easy pickings, and always carry something valuable.
The Republique █ █ █ | The dream of the Council, turned into a nightmare. The Republique fails to realize the only reason they are sitting at the table, is that the Duchy cannot force them out yet.
The Duchy █ █ █ | The Kingdom of Gallia, just rebranded as a democratic state. To many, their existence is a symbol of failure to achieve victory. A safe haven for the Nobles of Gallia, and one of the prime targets for the Collective.
The Enclave █ █ █ | What remained of the Kingdom, and the ultimate sign that the war isn't over yet. If Enclave personnel or their supporters are captured, they are looking for certain death. If they are lucky, a quick one.
