Something i noticed works for crashing ships

For years here i have had issues with once in a while loading a character and getting a game crash, freeze up or crash to desktop. Seems mainly to happen on high ranked characters with cap 8 armor and a lot spent on the ship. So on my account i made a new character fresh start and never fly it. But i use it every time i start up Disco as basically a loading the game ship. So far for the past few months my game never crashes if i load that ship first and then switch to others. Anyways figured would share this in help in case anyone else had an issue with loading some characters on accounts. It may work for you too.

If you have too much value on a character, it will become corrupted and crash. I think the sum is 2 billion or so, though that might be per account and not per character. The selling value of your equipment is counted, not the purchase value.

This has nothing to do with the 2 billion limit, i have characters with maybe 1.3 billion in equipment and hardly any other credits on them that crash when i try and log directly into them at first. It's done it for years on 3 computers. So nothing reinstalling fixes either. And they don't crash every time, like i said it is just sometimes. Also like i said, for a while now i have been using the basic start ship to load at first and then switch. Never crashes if i do.
