The Wingman Squadron are here to protect and to serve the people and Law Enforcement of Liberty and any other organisations who would care to hire our services. Our base of operations is in New York and is named Salt Lake Station and is in close proximity to Fort Bush and close to Planet Pittsburgh.

A very gracious greeting to the whole of Liberty and especially the Law Enforcement services who protect this particular area.

My call sign is Wingman "Renegade" which is all that I am going to reveal for the moment as my identity.
We have just Purchased Salt Lake Station from a particular freelancer who wished to sell the base onto someone who would use it to good effect and may I announce to you that we are in the process of moving into the facility and doing a total refit of its interior.

This refit will include medical facilities which will house 2 medical units for the purpose of treating our pilots if they are injured or seriously ill.
We can also offer our facilities to any of the Law Enforcement organisations within Liberty if needed also.

We have had a brief look at the facilities aboard and noticed some storage areas which we will be using mainly for food and medical supplies and also an armory for our ships ammo and equipment.
May I also point out that no illegal equipment or ships will be housed at the base and all vessels that we use are currently listed below

OUR HIGH COMMAND VESSELS INCLUDE

MONTANTE = Borderworld gunships which protect the base and surrounding area.

WINGMAN PILOT VESSELS

WARAN = Civilian Bombers which are used to launch from the base and also from our Command Ship

BUSTARD = Wingman Command vessel which is used as a mobile command centre and can launch multiple bombers at the request of the Commanding Officer

This particular Command vessel will have scientists and crew on board complete with medical facilities and also survey units and survey teams who man our internal monitoring station for potential trouble within the area of the vessels scanning range.

Our main objective is to help Law Enforcement in liberty whenever we are needed to assist in making sure the skys are safe and traders and others can freely enter liberty without being hunted by these individuals who cause so much trouble.

We also offer a service where we can escort ships while these pilots are active within Liberty or even if they need escorting afar which can also be done at a fee which is secured by the pilot.

There may also be occasions where we use our Command vessel to enter other space territory but if this ever happens we will make sure that the relevant authorities have been informed of such a necessity.

Anyone who wishes to contact us can do so via this communication channel and may I also invite any Law Enforcement who are still a bit curious as to our operation we will gladly meet and discuss matters that they are concerned about.

Once we have refitted the facility we will publish all facilities on board and make this publication accessible to all throughout Liberty and the rest of Sirius.

Also our base has a Freelancer IFF initiated to it and all pilots who are under our employ are all Freelancers too,who wish to serve and protect just like the Law Enforcement agencies do.

May I also point out that our pilots will be highly trained and also briefed on the particular aspect that when patrolling THEY DO NOT under any circumstances engage with any hostile unless they are attacked first or have PERMISSION from the Law Enforcement on duty at the time,and also they will be reporting to our Command Centre any individuals who are not known by Liberty and we will pass this information on aswell.

Our pilots will not be patrolling or flying just yet BUT you may see the odd ship undock from the base and just make a quick sweep to make sure the facility is safe while we do our refurbishment.

Right then ... I will take my leave for now and hope that I have satisfied some doubts and some curiosity as to who we are and what we will be doing within Liberty space.
