Guten Tag.
My name is Hans Averbach-Schmitz and I am the new Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs. We have been in contact with the government of Bretonia regarding their possible violation of the Treaty of Snowdown which the Guild had also accepted when it was initially signed between the two Houses.
To be more specific this violation is concerning the ownership of Aland Shipyard which both Houses recognize as IMG property by the Treaty. However despite promises of the shipyard's return following the Gallic War, the government of the Kingdom of Bretonia is refusing to do so. In their defense they claim that the Guild accepted and recognized Bretonia as the rightful owner of Aland Shipyard and made us privy to your private peace negotiations which reveal the discussions surrounding Aland. However the Peace Agreement, which is the only official document, makes no mention on this matter.
Thus, the government of Rheinland would like to inquire if the Independent Miners' Guild retains legal claims on Aland Shipyard or accepts that the shipyard is the undisputed property of the Kingdom of Bretonia.
As we are committed to an open and frank discussion, the contents of this communication will become available to Bretonia's government and Freeport 1 leadership in the near future.

Herr Averbach-Schmitz,
My name is Celestia Ludenberg, Guildmistress of the Independent Miners Guild. Pleasure making your acquaintance.
I see that the story around the Treaty of Snowdown is developing further at your courtesy, and you found it to be the next logical step to involve us in the discussion, but, i believe, some context is to be provided prior to you making your decision. I made sure i have familiarised myself with the development of the Aland Crisis in the past from my predecessor, so if you excuse me for my lengthy speech - i will start from the beginning, as there is a few points i would like to bring up.
I have been only recently informed about the existence of the Treaty of Snowdown. Miss Kirigiri, on the contrary, got to her position in spite of rapidly developing conflict, and simply had no time to concern herself with external diplomatic matters, focusing herself entirely on preservation of The Guild. The Kingdom of Bretonia stated their intentions quite explicit, intentionally hushing up the existence of Treaty of Snowdown. Furthermore, the communication clearly shows a part of Bretonia's true nature, for they consider Omega-3 a part of their territories and refer to it as Gibraltar, which raised suspicions of Bretonia spreading their forces to satisfy their expansionist ambitions while having a reason more than valid to justify such sentiments.
The fact that Aland was not transferred back to The Guild only confirms this.
Judging by your words, our former adversaries have granted you access to the frequency over which the negotiations have taken place; as a matter fact, it significantly eases up my task. However, a minor correction, perhaps, should take place to grant you read-only access with no expiration date so you would evaluate the course of the discussion yourself, and withness one simple fact - the Treaty of Snowdown is, once again, is not mentioned by our former adversaries in any form, capitalising on our unawareness and frequent power shifts that followed the period of Aland Crisis and the conclusion of Gallic War. Due to this, we could not pass objective judgement on to which points should be included into the peace treaty.
However, Bretonia have failed in these negotiations, and made one major mistake: there is simply no paragraph in the peace treaty that would acknowledge Aland Shipyard as Bretonian property to overlap the Treaty of Snowdown. And what is to be respected indefinitely of the developments is what have been included into the text of the Treaty, would you not agree, herr Averbach-Schmitz? The vague wording, in the end, have dug them their own grave.
In light of the transpired misinformation and misinterpretation of the Peace Treaty by the government of the Kingdom of Bretonia we, while not objecting the legitimacy of the Peace Treaty, urge our diplomatic adversaries to fulfill their responsibilities according to the Treaty of Snowdown and order the withdrawal of the Core forces present, as well as renegotiate the status of Aland Shipyard, distancing themselves from the obsolete practice that our distant ancestors have banned for it's irrelevance in the modern, ever-improving society.

Thank you for your swift answer.
We will continue our private negotiations with the government of Bretonia about their violations.
This transmission is now open and accessible to the Bretonian government and the Zoner leadership, the latter being also an interested party through their involvement in the Snowdown Treaty.

Taking a break during a trade run, Doc sits at a corner table going through transmissions and files when he comes across the transmission regarding the Treaty of Snowdown and the IMG. He's not surprised. Sipping his Scotch, he just reads quietly before he give a soft snicker.
"I guess I should not be surprised," he says to himself. He then shrugs and goes onto the next file.
"This will get interesting."
