You know. Part of me misses the Pack. All the trouble we would get into, people we would blackmail, weapons we would sell. But times have changed. With Ghost literally vanishing like an apparition in the night. And with Jimmy's much deserved retirement. Ol' Teds found himself runnin solo once more.

With the end of the Gallic Invasion of Sirius I was worried that all this peace would lead to a collapse of the arms market. But like Jimmy always said ‘with the end of one war another will always start’. This time with the once pacifist of Omega 49. Or rather Exeter. Then in the mists of that opening act the Imperial Kaiser returns after his brief intermission to the heart of Rhineland.

With that rumors have reached me about a facility which is funneling the massive stockpiles of leftover munitions across the Tau’s to the newly opening fields of battle across Sirius.

There’ll always be someone who needs ammunition.

You know what else sells well in a civil war.

Psychedelics

Ol' Teds got friends still, in far, far away places, and right next to home. And funny enough everyone is looking for some sort of escape, but the cheapest escape is one where you don't have to go anywhere, especially with Ol' Ted nearby with a just dandy amount on hand.

Course what sort of dealer would I be if I didn't have just a little sample of the product. Wouldn't want to sell anything that could harm my good name.

Speaking of Psychedelics. I stumbled upon an old venture of mine and Jimmy's. Well, when I say stumbled I mean more like I got a transmission, and when I said got a transmission I mean more of an angry request for funds.

You see Ol' Ted didn't really handle any of the bills, that was more of a Jimmy thing. In fact I had completely forgotten about the operation entirely. You see, Lou insists that he has been sending me weekly updates but I haven't been able to find any sort of thing. Part of me thinks Lou intended to make a run of it on his own and all this peace ruined whatever contracts he had in the works.

Either way The Wraith Holme once again falls to me to command. Well, manage more so. Seems like theres a body for everything here. Someone to steer. Someone to navigate. Someone to man the radios for Eris' sake. Looks like Lou didn't fancy himself a hands on individual.

Anyways to help pull the operation back into the black I've taken us to the Exeter system. Officially we are here to have the engineers aboard Lanzarote service the port side engine array. Unofficially we have a delivery of three birds to the local resistance group.......s? I'm not entirely sure who placed the order with Lou, but no doubt someone is itching for a fight of some kind. The delivery is going to put us positive almost 3 million credits after materials costs, but we have some pretty hefty fuel bills outstanding and the crew hasn't been paid in quite awhile. I'm sure that little chunk won't last for long, but at least we can afford to work our way back into Liberty.
