all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

Only 15 here mate, and me and all the rest before us have I'm sure been in this position. The best way to learn is to go out and experience this firsthand. It truely is a lot of fun once you settled into your "Character" and a lot of interesting scenarios can be played out. Hope to see you out there!

I don't think any of us were really knocking you (at least not hard) we're just... pushing you in the right direction. Perhaps you can put to use those creative writing lessons your Lit teachers always talk about. At 14 your imagination may be running rampart.

Tis true, I can name all (3) of my characters right now, and thier personalities. one is a widower, now an old man. one is a young pilot with a family that is just starting. an a loner zoner.

age is of no concern ^^ I started at 14 too, and was a general annoyance, often making overpowered character (which is another problem for new roleplayers).

Just read some of the story in bio section. You'll see how its done.

All of the above said, not everyone has to be a hero. You don't need to have single handedly taken on an armies. You could just have been a street brawler or some such who'd done his time and was now trying to redeem himself further by working on the other side of the law. Just need to flesh out your stories a little.

If you need help, I'm sure there are plenty of people who wouldn't mind helping somebody with a decent attitude. Just remember, most of us are clinically insaaaaaaaaaane.

Ha, we all started there. I was an OORP nublet in a BD HF with Corsair guns when I started. It's all in the attitude, the willingness to learn. You'll go far like that. Try a more detailed app again. The LPI would be glad to have someone willing to learn (as I call them, "good newbs", those that have great potential for growth).
