"Ageira Technologies. You do your company credit."

"I am Linus VonClaussen, a representative for the Rheinland Government. A deliberation on what to do with certain inactive Jump Gate assets throughout Rheinland's territories remains in effect in the Reichstag, however, some examples have met a resolution. Furthermore, I hope that politics will not come between us. Whilst there are a set of political beliefs dominant within Rheinland that your company, Synth Foods, DSE and Cryer have displayed non-competitive behaviour in the past, a view I, personally share, and a view which the President of Liberty may have a dim appraisal of, given the understandable economic balance that would occur, I believe that we do have a domain of common dialogue. Our stance is one of promoting competitive contracts, and, as Ageira promotes itself as the best and most experienced provider of gate and lane technology in the sector, I believe that you will win such contracts. The Empire hopes to be an honest actor in Sirius, and we will not engage in reverse-engineering, as some other houses have. "

"I hope, that given the circumstances, we can come to an accord."

"Since the end of the Rheinland Federalist - Liberty war, a war the Empire hopes will never be repeated, the old Hamburg-Bering jumpgate has sat inactive. The gate is draining the resources of both Ageira and the Government to maintain, for no profit. Now that the gate on the far end has been destroyed, there is no meaningful financial benefit to keeping the gate in-place, to either of our enterprises."

"The Rhienland government desires for the gate to be dismantled, and put into storage. Rheinland still holds a considerable lease on the Gate, therefore we desire to warehouse the gate's components on a secure Ageira warehouse on the Potsdam moon, in vacuum containment, until a new system is discovered meriting a jump gate . We are willing to fund Ageira to do so. Such a commission would free up the Hamburg orbital slot for new development. Rheinland is sorely lacking in house-funded research stations as part of the brain-drain of the last one hundred years. If Ageira dismantles the gate, you would be eligible for future Rheinlandic research station development programs. "

"Holding a gate in storage would enable Rheinland to quickly establish new colonial routes in the future. Rheinland intends to focus on civil exploration for our future expansion, rather than the military adventurism that has defined prior generations. A stored-and-ready gate would be a massive economic asset. Naturally, We would prefer that the gate's components are stored on Ageira property to prevent security concerns."

"If the project is successful, we may pursue a similar objective with the inert Stuttgart gate, once the Hessian threat has been brought to heel."

"We welcome your response."

To: VonClaussen of Rheinland Government

Dear Mr. VonClaussen,

Greetings, I am John White, president of main branch for Ageira Technologies, named Ageira Innovations. Ageira has never been involved in non-competitive corporate dealings simply because there was absolutely no competition till Solar Engineering came into the picture and even then, we simply continued our work under contracts that everyone sought out based on reliable and efficient Jump Gate and Trade Lane Network expansion. We have always been the first choice to expand beyond house confinements and we still believe that whole Sirius should be interconnected with FTL constructions to aid in communications, economy, travel and science. You will find that our open patent for Docking Rings is prime example of not being anti-competitive and being for universal approach to allow modernization and unification of various aspects of technology through Sirius.

Now, onto the business at hand. Ageira has been dealing with past Rheinland Governments on multiple occasions and it was less than pleasant to be met with such hostilities for protecting our corporate interests and at the same time having no issues working per contracts to further Network coverage. We are always willing to work with our clients and this abandoned Jump Gate, while not particularly taxing on anyone's budgets, can be disassembled and delivered back to Ageira stations to be refurbished and upgraded for current projects while providing discount for future Rheinland constructions. Storing our proprietary technology in Rheinland's warehouses seems inefficient way to deal with older technology as it is not our nature to stash second-hand materials and at the same time we do not wish to raise any more danger if any improper handling is done or anything externally damages these assets.

As such, if you do have a clear plan, which is in line with Dual Extension Vectography System (DEVS) accords, we can start dissembling inactive Jump Gate with no additional cost as it was already covered by previous contract. We have voided any other losses after the Jump Gate was sabotaged and we had to fix it first to avoid any potential disaster to Bering and/or Hamburg systems. After all, we have always been exemplary corporation in upholding our contracts to the letter. While we can assure you that Ageira Innovations will do everything in our power to continue doing so, we have high hopes that even after unfortunate turmoil in Rheinland, there will not be any negative changes towards how Ageira is viewed by Rheinland Government.

Sincerely,

John White,
President, Ageira Innovations

"Capital."

"I am perennially heartened to be pleasantly surprised, Sir. Your terms are more than fair."

"The Rheinland goverment agrees with Ageira's request to store your technology as you see fit. Your company has a well-deserved reputation for safeguarding your assets, and I would be remiss to tell you how to do your job. I do remember Ageira's efforts to prevent disaster, and how effectively your company triaged Hamburg from further harm."

"I hope, that with sufficient planning and effort exerted, that the redevelopment of the Hamburg system can be made in full compliance with the Dual Extension Vectography Systems accords. As a man who has been formally accused of treason without a trial, you might understand that I have an incentive to desire uphold the norms of international law. "

"We will inform Ageira when a date for the disassembly operation can be scheduled into the trade-lane traffic."
