I noticed tonight, after purchasing the BHBS, that it very difficult to dock with most bases and impossible at others. It locks during the docking cut-scene. At Rostock I can get the BS to dock while mashing the ESC-key during the cut-scene. But at Capetown in O-56, no dice. My ship just hangs there in the cut-scene, waiting to dock.

Also, I noticed an odd thing about the BS in cruise. If the BS is in free-flight cruise, it flies along like it always had. If I set the BS on a course using the "go to" function and enter cruise, the BS sways to and fro, as if the flight camera is off kilter.

Has anyone else had similar issues with other BSes?

both might be related to a bad hitbox ( it can cause funny camera movements and docking problems ) - gonne look into that.

Funny camera movements he describes seems to happen with all battleships, though...

I had a fight with a BHBC the hit box is really bad I shot at them and the shots litterally went right through the hull doing no damage I watched as even a light mortar passed right through the side of it.

yes - if thats the usual bobbing of the camera - its due to the excessive mass of those ships upsetting the autopilot that tries to steer against the mass and oversteers.

but the docking might be HpMount / hitbox related - might just move the HpMount more forward

edit: we had some trouble with a detailed hitbox for the BHG BS - atm it has what you might call a "generous" simplified hitbox - shots shouldn t go though - but we might have missed issues with it - gonne adress it on the dev board.
