The title says it all. How addictive is cardamine... really? ... I have heard several opinions. Some say that it is no different than crack cocaine, others say that it is so addictive from the moment that you take a puff it controls you. So i ask the community, How addictive do you think cardamine really is?
In my personal opinion, it depends on the circumstances. Let me provide an example.
An outcast born on Malta , or an outcast station that has cardi venting through the air system, will be born with the stuff in his blood, therefore it will be a necessity for him to live.
On the other hand, a character that was not born on such planet or base, like a GC, the effects are alot less, in this case i think that it is as addictive as cocaine, while very very hard to break the addiction, it can be done with enough work and determination.

What do you all think?
You're about right. Outcasts are genetically dependant, needing it like they do food or water. The standard junky in the Houses, though? It's like heroin or similar, yes. There are news posts in Bretonia about rehab centres.
